It all started with the fabric
why fabric, specifically?
We had both encountered the medium and knew there was plenty of room to explore the subject.
After completing her undergraduate studies in textile design at the Lodz University of Technology, Julia wanted to see what opportunities the Academy of Fine Arts had to offer. She complemented her experience with jacquard weaving by acquiring skills and knowledge in fabric printing; this beautifully combined her creative drive with a new medium.
Kamila’s mom had always sewn, so fabrics and their processing were nothing new to her. After earning her undergraduate degree in design—a field that provides a foundation for pursuing various career paths—she sought a niche where she would feel truly at home, and that is how she discovered jacquard.

PANAMA CLASSIC
View productsIt is primarily cotton, with up to 60% of the fibers coming from recycled sources. We offer it in two versions:
- a cotton blend reinforced with acrylic (60% cotton, 35% acrylic, 5% polyester—the latter forming the warp/fabric structure)
- pure cotton on a polyester-cotton warp (94% cotton, 6% polyester).
