PANAMA x Ola Niepsuj / ŻABIBI

This project marks our second collaboration with an illustrator (the first was with Natalia Konca a year earlier - read more about it here).

Following the wonderful reception of *IDĘ SPAĆ x namazane, we were ready for another project of this kind. We had been following Ola Niepsuj’s work for some time -  we love her drawing style, her sense of humor, and her lighthearted take on everyday life.

We met in person at the Targi Rzeczy Ładnych fair in Warsaw, and that’s exactly where the idea for a collaboration came about.

Shortly after, ŻABIBI was born - a mini drop by PANAMA × Ola Niepsuj.

Ola created an illustration of a little frog in the rain for Panama. It was her interpretation of pleasure - and she had complete creative freedom. We were familiar enough with her work to simply trust that whatever she proposed would be just as good. We wanted the result to be consistent with her artistic world while also fitting in perfectly with Panama.

We discussed colors extensively during the design process. This collection is more subdued than many of our previous projects, marking a fresh approach for us. We also trusted Ola with the fabric coloring, while a bolder accent was introduced through the finishing touches—the final result beautifully rounds off the entire process.

The drop features blankets, throws, and reversible cushions adorned with an original illustration by Ola; everything was produced locally in Poland in a limited run.

We love collaborations that stem from a genuine appreciation for someone’s work. We are especially thrilled that ŻABIBI has made the journey from concept to finished collection and is ready to find a place in your homes.
