Our products made of cotton fabric* (blankets, rugs, pillowcases, scarves and vests) should be cared according to the following recommendations.
- Fabrics can be machine washed at 30 degrees using the delicates program. The lower the spin speed, the better.
- They can also be sent for dry cleaning.
- Avoid using bleach, chlorine, tumble drying and ironing.
After washing, fabrics may shrink slightly (up to approximately 2% of their dimensions).
Some tips to extend the shelf life of your products:
Blankets, pillowcases, scarves, and vests are covered with evenly combed pile, which will bunch up over time – a natural process. This will deepen with each wash, but will stop after 2-3 washes. The blankets don't require frequent machine washing; regular airing and shaking are enough to keep them fluffy longer.
Products may lose fluff initially—this is leftover from the scratching process. To prevent this, simply shake them out or wash them.
Blankets can become balled up due to friction – this is also a natural process. Any balls that form can be easily removed with a fabric shaver.
*These instructions apply to both acrylic and non-acrylic fabrics.
